Since 2015, the Can Protect Foundation has organized more than 1500 free breast and cervical cancer prevention camps and spread awareness about cancer in women in both rural and urban areas.
In rural areas especially in Uttarakhand, there are basic facilities available for basic health care needs. Due to such circumstances, the poor living in these remote locations go on suffering from easily preventable diseases especially women.
Can Protect Foundation organize breast and cervical cancer prevention camps in such locations and arranges for breast checkups, breast self-examination training to benefit women.
