78 women screened for Breast Cancer at Dharmawala Village, Dehradun

Can Protect Foundation organized breast cancer awareness and prevention camp for women at Shri Vivekananda Health Mission Hospital, Dharmawala Herbertpur.  78 women from Dharmawala and nearby villages examined for a various health problem and screened for breast diseases.

This camp was organized in collaboration with Shri Vivekananda Health Mission after the success of this health camp it is decided to continue this activity every month for the benefits of women.

All the women in the camp get benefitted from the facility of breast screening for the first time in their life. In conversation with many women, our medical team came to know that women have no earlier knowledge about breast cancer prevention. Our volunteers not only informed them about breast self-examination but also made them aware of the methods of breast cancer prevention.

All the women have been requested to share the information given by the medical team of the Can Protect Foundation for breast cancer awareness with other women as well.

It is our endeavor that our campaign for breast cancer awareness and prevention reaches every home and every woman of the state and country should get breast screening facility near to their home.

We are thankful to Swami Vivekananda Health Mission for giving support in our mission and also thankful to all the volunteers, Dr. Huma Parveen, and a medical team associated with this camp.
