Can Protect Foundation is organising a Free Breast Screening Camp every Thursday in October 2026 at CMI Hospital, Dehradun, as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The camp is an opportunity for women to get their breasts screened even if they feel completely healthy and have no symptoms.
Why Breast Screening Is ImportantBreast cancer can sometimes develop without causing noticeable symptoms in its early stages. This is why screening is important—even when you feel healthy.
Finding a problem early can help doctors evaluate it sooner and, when cancer is present, begin appropriate treatment at an earlier stage.
You do not need to wait until you notice a lump or other symptoms to consider screening.
The screening camp will use iBreastExam, a US FDA-approved breast examination device.
The examination is simple, quick and painless, making it a convenient option for women who want to take an early step towards breast health.

Women who feel healthy can also come for screening. You do not have to wait for symptoms before taking care of your breast health.
If you have noticed any unusual breast changes, such as a lump, change in breast shape or size, nipple changes, or unusual discharge, speak with a qualified healthcare professional.
October is observed as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an important time to encourage women to learn about breast health, understand the importance of early detection and seek appropriate medical advice.
Can Protect Foundation is using this month to encourage more women in Dehradun and surrounding areas to take an active step towards their health.
Early detection can make a difference. Take the opportunity to get screened and encourage the women in your family and community to do the same.
A simple reminder can encourage another woman to get screened. Please share information about this free breast screening camp in Dehradun with your mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and colleagues.
