Can Protect Foundation Organizes Free Women’s Health & Screening Camp on International Women’s Day 2025

Promoting Women’s Health Through Awareness and Action

On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2025, Can Protect Foundation, under the leadership of Dr. Sumita Prabhakar, successfully organized a Free Women’s Health & Screening Camp in collaboration with Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University (DBUU).

The event aimed to create awareness around Breast and Cervical Cancer, while offering essential free health services to women from nearby communities.

Key Services Offered During the Camp

Over 50 women benefited from the various free services provided at the camp, which included:

  • Women’s Health Checkups
  • Medical Consultations
  • Screening Tests
  • Breast Self-Exam Workshops
  • Clinical Breast Checkups
  • Pap Smear Tests

This initiative reinforces Can Protect Foundation’s ongoing commitment to women’s preventive healthcare and early detection of cancer.

The event was honored by the presence of Smt. Ritu Khanduri, Speaker of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, who served as the Chief Guest. She emphasized the importance of preventive healthcare and the need for more proactive health initiatives targeting women’s wellness.
