It is difficult to understand the challenges of the women living in the slum, The kind of difficult circumstances, these people are living in the slum area, rarely women living there ever had a screening of breast cancer.
CAN Protect Foundation has understood this and organized a special free breast cancer screening camp in the slum area of Dehradun; Women were given information about breast cancer and they were told to do regular breast cancer screening from time to time. More than 100 women’s breast examinations were done for free.
